1927-2009
Mary Elizabeth Holland Calvert was born April 2, 1927 to Luther and Mayme Crumbaugh Holland
of Caldwell County and departed April 15, 2009 at Regional Center in Madisonville, Ky.
At a very young age Mary Elizabeth accepted Christ as her Savior and was a very active member of Halleck Chapel United Methodist Church.
Her career was being a homemaker, loving wife and a caregiver to others.
She was preceded in death by her husband Luke Calvert, a son Zachary Calvert, both parents,
Luther and Mayme Holland, a sister, Levonia Johnson, all were of Princeton, Ky.,
two brothers, Robert "R.B." Holland and Albert Holland both were of Indianapolis, In.
Survivors include 2 sons, Reginald Boyd Calvert, Caldwell Co., KY, Kenneth Calvert, Princeton, Ky,
2 daughters, Helen Hicks, Caldwell Co., KY Ginger Wimbelduff, Princeton, Ky,
11 grandchildren; 21 great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews,
cousins and many many friends.
Services: Funeral services were held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home with
Rev. Jerry Gray, Rev. Carolyn Gray, Rev. John Emerson, Jr. and Rev. Patricia Majors and burial
to follow in Halleck's Chapel.
