have been extracted from various other resources.

Serena Mayes Mathis 1877-1961-I have found no further information on her.

1. Elizabeth Lile
Born 1 Nov. 1774 in North Carolina - Died abt. 1855
Elizabeth was the daughter of James Hester of Va. and Ann Rudd of Chesterfield,Va.  She married Jackson Lile Sr. 18 July 1793 in Franklin Co., N. C.   Elizabeth came to Christian County with her son Jackson Lile Jr. and his family about 1850/1852

2. Mary Elizabeth Knight
7 July 1830 in Tn.
 22 Feb. 1910
Mary Elizabeth Keith d/o Alexander and Ellen (Wadley) Keith who came from Tn.1838/1840
She married  (1) 9 Dec. 1847 Henry Farley Knight  (2) 25 Dec. 1906  Daniel Wade Hamilton Carlton
Muhlenberg County Kentucky Heritage vol 1, # 5, Dec. 1979:
“Knight, Mary; 80 years old; died at home of son James Knight, Feb. 22, 1910; buried at Rock Bridge, in Christian county (paper published Feb. 24, 1910)

3. Molly Keith
Born June 22, 1850 in Ky. - Died Feb. 6, 1922
d/o Micajah and Amanda Helen Grissom.  w/o Willliam Alexander Keith

4.  William Alexander Keith
    Born Oct. 30, 1845 - Died Jan. 17, 1923
Death certificate states buried at Rock Bridge
s/o Alexander and Ellen (Wadley).  Married 3 June1866 to Mary Angeline Wells (Molly)

5.  Jim Lile
Died 16 Jan. 1931

This may be James A. Lile ,s/o James Wesley and Margaret (Grace)Lile
Born June 6 1873 - Died Jan. 9, 1930
Married Mildred Davis daughter of Thomas Washington and Martha (Wells) Davis

6. Source:  Eve Jordan’s NORTH EAST CHRISTIAN COUNTY:
 “Mrs. Nora Fox had a daughter from a previous marriage, the daughter was buried at Rock Bridge”

7. Otis Young son of Thomas and Arnetta Enry (Wells) Young
1909-1937

8.  William Wesley and Mary Emily (Davis) Wells lost three infant sons. At least one of them was buried at Rock Bridge with a sandstone marker. I cannot remember if there were two buried at Rock Bridge or two of them at Bald Knob
They were:
Chester Wells 22 May 1915 - 24 May 1915

Vitas Wells ???? - (between 1899-1919)

Jesse Wells  ???? - (between 1899-1919)
Hopkins County vital statistics  states Chester buried at Davis Cemetery.  That would be the family cemetery at Bald Knob. So Vitas and/or Jesse is buried at Rock Bridge.  No dates for either of them.

8. Margaret Hendrix
Born about 1850 - Died 1881 Hopkins County, Ky.
Buried at Rock Bridge Cemetery in Christian County, Ky.

Maragaret was the daughter of William Willard of Leesburg, Loudon co., Va. and Jane Cook
Margaret was the wife of Isaac Hendrix



9.  Mary Manire
    8 Oct. 1824  - 13 Oct. 1902
d/o Isaac and Margaret (Willard) Hendrix
married John Wesley  Manire 8 Jan. 1846 Williamson County,Tn.

 10. Sharber, no name infant of Oscar Sharber and Ora Fox both born Ky.
       born 18 Mar. 1922 in KY-    died 29  Mar. 1922 buried Rock Bridge

12.  Rebecca Allison
Born about 1845 and died about 1869
She was the d/o of Joe Hight and Lydia Carlton.  She married David Allison.
