             Allie Elizabeth Wiggins Allen, 86, Christian
             Health Center, died at 4:05 a.m. Sunday, July
             2, 2000, at the health center following a long
             illness.

             Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maddux
             Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Bob
             Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill
             Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until
             8 p.m. Tuesday.

             A native of Stewart County, Tenn.,she was born
             July 30, 1913, the daughter of the late William
             Grogan and Robbye Blane Wiggins. She was a
             retired nurse at Western State Hospital and was a
             Baptist.

             Survivors include her husband, Lloyd W. Allen; six
             daughters, Mrs. Dan (Robbye) Ellis, Mrs. Charles
             (Mary) Petty, Mrs. George (Kay) Gresham, all of
             Hopkinsville, Mrs. Delmar (Shirley) Killebrew,
             Owensboro, Mrs. Jerome (Linda) Ellis,
             Springfield, Tenn., Mrs. Jack (Dianne) Dunigan,
             Benton; two brothers, Richard Wiggins, Florida,
             Howard Wiggins, Illinois; a sister, Unavia Schultz,
             Decatur, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, 18
             great-grandchildren and one
             great-great-granddaughter.


ALVIS CLAYTON ALLEN

Funeral services for Alvis Clayton ALLEN, 51, of Elizabehtown and formerly of Cadiz were held on Apr 20, 1993, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The Rev. Norman Ellis and Thomas Keelin officiated and burial was in East End Cemetery.

Mr. Allen died on April 16 in Breckinridge County. He was born on Jun 04, 19141, the son of Naomi LITCHFIELD of  Cadiz and the late Raymond ALLEN. Mr Allen was a sale representative for Nestle Food Company. Surviviors include his wife, Nellie Frances ALLEN, Elizabethtown; one son, Jeffrey OLIVER of Elizabethtown; four daughters, Robin  CRENSHAW, Trigg County, Lisa Oliver and Kim Oliver, both of Elizabethtown, and Jennifer CALDWELL, Ashland; his
mother, Naomi LITCHFIELD ALLEN, Cadiz; one brother, James ALLEN, Churchill tenn; and three grandchildren, Benji BURKS, of Trigg County, Brie CALDWELL of Ashland, and Rachel OLIVER of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond ALLEN; one son, James Clayton ALLEN, in infancy; and grandparents Mr and Mrs Ollie LITCHFIELD, Mr and Mrs. Bob ALLEN, and Mr and Mrs Delbert BUTTS.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Butts, Greg Allen, Steve Allen,
Chappel Allen, Mike Waits, Scotty Waits, Larry Cunningham, and Jerry Ray Tyler. Music was provided by Herschel
Shelton, soloist, and Gary Thomspson organist.

CARL ALLEN

             LOUISVILLe, Ky. -- Carl R. Allen, 74,
             Louisville, died of natural causes Wednesday,
             Feb. 21, 2001, at his home.

             Services were Friday at Highlands Funeral Home.
             Burial followed in Cave Hill Cemetery.

             A native of Christian County, he was a retired
             printer with the Old Fawcett Dearing Printing Co.,
             Louisville, a Navy veteran of World War II and a
             member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.

             Survivors include two brothers, Wilburn H. Allen,
             Louisville, and Marvin M. Allen, Bardstown. 


ESTELLE ALLEN

             Estelle Allen, 89, Pembroke, died at 3:30 p.m.
             Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at Medco Center,
             Pembroke.

             Arrangements were incomplete this morning at
             Adams and Sons Mortuary, although private
             graveside services already have been scheduled
             locally sometime on Saturday.

WESTMINSTER, Calif. - Goldie Allen, 92 formerly of Corydon, died Sunday in a hospital here.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Puckett of Westminster; one sister, Mrs. R. A, Hughes of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.

             Henry L. Allen, 66, Greenville, died Monday,
             April 3, 2000, at the Muhlenberg Community
             Hospital, Greenville, of natural causes.

             Arrangements are incomplete at Adams and Sons
             Mortuary.

             Graveside services for Henry L. Allen,
             Greenville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cave
             Spring Cemetery.

             Visitation will be at the cemetery prior to the
             service. Adams and Sons Mortuary is in charge of
             arrangements.

             He died Monday, April 3, 2000, at the Muhlenberg
             Community Hospital, Greenville, of natural causes.

             He was a native of Hopkinsville.

             The family declines to release any additional
             information.



IRVIN L ALLEN

Brig. Gen. Irvin L. Allen Dies in Germany
Arrangements Incomplete for Former Trigg Countian.
Word has been received here last week that Irvin L. ALLEN, age 61, Brigadier General, U.S. Army, Retired, had died in Germany where he suffered a heart attackNovember 3, while on a business trip there. He had been hospitalized since November 3. Funeral arrangements were Incomplete when the call came to his daughters, Mrs. Frank SPEARS in
Detroit, Mich. But members of the family felt that General Allen's body would be returned to Washington, D.C. for a  military funeral and burial in Arlington Cemtery.

General ALLEN was born in Cadiz, September 2, 1907, a son of the late Ira and Bessie ROBERTS ALLEN. He received the BS degree from the University of Kentucky in 1929. He had also studied at Northeastern University Law School and had done graduate study in Business Administration at George Washington University.

He was commissioned a Lieutenant upon graduation from UK and was promoted to First Lieutenant in 1933, to Captain in 1940, to Major in 1942, to Colonel in 1944, to Lt. Colonel in 1945 and Brigadier General in October 1956. He had served with distinction in Europe, Africa and Asia on numerous tours of duty, in addition to continuing his military education. He had been awarded the Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf Cluster, the French Medal of Recognition and the Brazilian Medal of War. He assumed command of the Northern Area Command, with headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany in 1961 and in 1962 he became Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics, of the U.S. Army in Europe, with
headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany.

General and Mrs. Allen made their legal home in Annandale, Va. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Frank SPEARS; a son, Donald k. ALLEN of U.S. Army; his stepmother, Mrs. Lula ALLEN of Cadiz; a half brother, Sidney E. ALLEN, Norfolk, Va; a half sisters, Mrs. Eva Dae BILLINGS, Erie, Mich; six grandchildren and numerous relatives here in Trigg County.

J. D. Allen, 74, Cadiz, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000 at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, following a short illness.
A World War II Army veteran, retired machinist with 35 years service with Trigg Knit Hosiery Mills and a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church, he was born Feb. 17, 1926, in Trigg County, Ky., a son of the late James Lee Allen , Jr. and Bertie Boyd Allen.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Darla Kay Allen ; and two brothers, Edward Allen and Willard Allen.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Grace Wood Allen ; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Allen of Owensboro, Mike Allen and Barry and Gina Allen all of Cadiz;
four grandchildren, Jeanna Sevy, Jessica Allen, Chelsey Allen, and Austin Allen ;
and two great-grandchildren, Micah Sevy and Taylor Sevy.
Funeral services Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000 at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev Don Cottrell and the Rev Darren Gaddis officiating.
Burial will follow in East Cadiz Baptist Church Cemetery, Cadiz, Ky.


JAMES LEE ALLEN

James Lee Allen Died At Home of His Daughter On December 5
Death came to one of Trigg counties prominent citizens December the 5th at the home of his daughter, Mrs K.T.
FAUGHN, after several months of illness. James Lee ALLEN was born in Trigg county, January 8, 1863. He had spent his
entire life in Trigg county and was a well known and highly respected old citizen. About sixty years ago he was united
in marriage to Miss Mary Lee GREENWOOD who preceded him to his grave about eleven years ago. To this union was
born ten children, two dying in infancy. Another Ira Earl died about two years ago. Those children surviving are;
Lloyd, Fay, and Jim Allen all of Trigg county, Mrs K.T. FAUGHN, Mrs Fay THOMAS and Mrs Robert FREEMAN, of Trigg
county. Several grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Siloam Methodist
Church, on December 6, with Reverend I.D. Morrison officiating. Burial took place at the Allen graveyard, near the home place.

James "Jim" Lee ALLEN, Jr., 73, retired Trigg County blacksmith, died at 8 a.m. today at Trigg County Hospital, where he had been a patient since last Friday but he had been in declining health for six months.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. L.L. Terrell officiating. Burial will bein the East End Cemetery.
Mr Allen, of Cadiz Route 2 was born in Trigg County March 13, 1897, the son of James Lee ALLEN Sr. and Molly
GREENWOODO ALLEN. On Aug 12, 1913, he married Bertie BOYD, who died in January 1969. Surviving are three sons,
Edwards, J.D. and Willard ALLEN, all of Trigg County; two brothers, Lloyd ALLEN, Cadiz, and Leslie ALLEN, Paducah;
three sisters, Mrs. Robbie FREEMAN, Calvert City, Mrs. Killous FAUGHN, Trigg County, and Mrs. Fay THOMAS,
Henderson; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jame Willard ALLEN, 65, of Cadiz were conducted on April 16, 1997, at the Goodwin Funeral
Home. The Rev. Andy Buckingham officiated the services. Burial followed in the Robertson Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr ALLEN WAS BORN ON Jul 11, 1931. He was the son of the late James Lee and Bertie BOYD ALLEN.
Mr. ALLEN was a retired employee of the Trigg County Road Department. He was a member of the Liberty Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Tim ALLEN, of Trigg County and Randy ALLEN of Barstow, Calif; two daughters, Janice
Kay GRAY of Trigg Countyand Donna SNIDER of Donalsonville, Ga; a brother J.D. ALLEN of Trigg County; and six
grandchildren, Adam GRAY, James Michael and April ALLEN, and Lu Ann, Shann and Rob SNIDER. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Virginia ALLEN in 1996; a brother Edward ALLEN, and a grandchild, Audrey Kay LOWENSTEIN.
Serving as pallbearers are Barry and Jerry ALLEN; Robert EDMONDS, Tommy HANBERRY, Billy HART and Amos PEPPER. Music was provided by Mae Perdue, organist.

Funeral services for Letha Faughn Allen, 88, of Cadiz will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, at Goodwin Funeral Home.
The Rev. Harry Lewis will officiate the services. Burial will follow in East - End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mrs. Allen died on Sunday, Sept. 10, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Cadiz, following a long illness.
Sl,ie was retired nutritionist from Trigg County Hospital and a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Allen was born on Feb. 10, 1907, in Trigg County, daughter of the late James Benjamin Faughn and Annie Faughn Faughn.
Survivors include Maxine Futrell of Calvert City and Barbara Cannon of Hopkinsville; one brother, Alfred Faughn of Trigg County; and three grandchildren, Michael Ray Futrell and Barbara Sue Futrell, both of Calvert City, and John David Wright o Lexington.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her i-iusband, Lloyd Raymond Allen, in March 1976; four brothers, Adolphus Faughn, Francis Faughn, Zan Faughn, and Robert Faughn; and seven sisters, Mamie Evelyn Faughn, Hazel Freeman, Alpha Lou Cain, Eliza Malone, Mary Morris, Ada Reddick, and Mattie Gillespie.

LILLIAN CUNNINGHAM ALLEN

Mrs Lillian ALLENpassed away at her home near Golden Pond last Friday morning October 6th after a long illness.
Mrs Allen was born July 7th, 1888. She was the youngest daughter of S.W. and Lydia WALLACE CUNNINGHAM, both now  deceased. She grew to young womanhood in the Peal's Chapel community. She was united in marriage to Reba ALLEN, August 8th, 1906, who survives her. To this union was born seven children, four sons and three daughters, all of  whom survive. They are William Ragen ALLEN, U.S. Navy, Memphis, Tenn., Florin Rabon ALLEN of Golden Pond, Lacy
Edward ALLEN, U.S. Navy, Washington D.C., James Dudley ALLEN, Evansville, Ind; Mrs Alvin OAKLEY, Russellville, Ky,
Mrs Herman OGLESBY, Evansville, Ind, Mrs Eura FLOOD, Golden Pond, Ky.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs Mattie CUNNINGHAM Canton, Ky and three brothers, Frank, and Alex CUNNINGHAM, Cadiz, Ky; and Cordus CUNNINGHAM, Murray Ky. A number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Early in life, Mrs Allen united with the Hurricane Baptist church. Later she moved her membership to the Cumberland River Baptist. She was a faithful loyal member to her church and a true devoted wife and mother. The community in which she lived feels a great loss. She was loved by all and held in the highest esteem by all her friends neighbors and Acquaintances.
Funeral services were held at Cumberland Church, her pastor, Bro J.J. Jenkins officiating. Burial followed at the Peal
cemetery Sunday afternoon, October 8th, with a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends attending.

LLOYD RAYMOND ALLEN
Lloyd Raymond ALLEN, 74, died Friday, March 26, at 4 a.m. in Jennie Stuart Hospital. He had been in declining health for a number of years and had been critically ill the past three weeks.
A native of Trigg County, Allen was born October 18, 1901, a son of the late James Lee and Mary GREENWOOD ALLEN. He was married to Letha FAUGHN, who survives.
He was a retired engineer of the Cadiz Railroad and a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at Goodwin Funeral Home Sunday, March 28, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John C. Brinson officiating.
Music services were by Mrs. Mae Frankel and Mrs. June Thompson with Mrs. Frankel at the organ. Burial was in East End Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Letha FAUGHN ALLEN; two daughters, Mrs. Albert FUTRELL,Calvert City, and Mrs. Floyd CANNON, Hopkinsville; one brother, Leslie ALLEN, Paducah; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle FAUGHN, Trigg County, Mrs. Ella Thomas, Henderson, and Mrs. Ruby FREEMAN, Calvert City; and three grandchildren.

Mrs Lula Grace ALLEN, 83, died Tuesday, December 25, at 6:22 p.m. in Shady Lawn Nursing Home following an extended illness.
A native of Trigg County, Mrs. Allen was born November 27, 1890, the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Belle STEGAR MITCHELL She was married to Ira ALLEN on Jun 09 1919. He preceded her in death in April, 1942.
She was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted at Goodwin Funeral Home Friday, December 28, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Belva officiating. Music services were by Mrs. Morris Wood, soloist, with Mrs. Mae Frankel at the organ. Burial was in Siloam Cemetey.
Survivors include one son, Sidney Earl ALLEN, Chespeake, Va; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Dae BILLINGS, Eric, Mich; one brother, Harvey MITCHELL, Paducah, and one foster brother, Woodrow MITCHELL of Trigg County; one sister, Mrs. Ethel STEWART, Gracey; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Futrell, Ted Futrell, Barry Allen, Floyd Cannon, Noble Douglas Mitchell and Owen Mitchell.

        MARY ALLEN

             CADIZ, Ky. -- Mary Allen, 83, Cadiz, died at
             6:25 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at Shady
             Lawn Nursing Center of natural causes.

             Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Goodwin
             Funeral Home, with the Rev. Frank Kirby
             officiating. Burial will be in House Cemetery,
             Trigg County. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m.
             Thursday.

             A native of Stewart County, Tenn., she was born
             July 20, 1916, the daughter of the late Edward and
             Florence Wallace Askew. She was a homemaker.
             Her husband, John Taylor Allen, died in 1973.
             Two sons, John Curtis and Thomas Allen, also
             preceded her in death.

             Survivors include four sons, Bobby Askew Allen,
             Barberton, Ohio, Wayne Allen, Linton, Robert and
             Donny Allen, both of Cadiz; four daughters, Mrs.
             Jesse (Gracie) Lewis, Cumberland Furnace, Tenn.,
             Mrs. Jerry (Sue) Faris, Jaunita Cook and Lucy
             Hart, all of Cadiz; two brothers, Dick and Hershel
             Askew, both of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Minnie
             Boren, Cadiz, Louise Mason, Akron; 40
             grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren and 24
             great-great-grandchildren.


MAVIS ALLEN

             CADIZ, Ky. -- Mavis Allen, 68, Trigg County,
             died at 12:05 p.m.. Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at
             Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

             Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Goodwin
             Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4 this
             afternoon. Burial will be in House Cemetery, Trigg
             County.

             A native of Trigg County, she was born Sept. 5,
             1931, the daughter of the late Bud and Mallie Pearl
             Allen. She was a member of the Holiness Faith.

             Survivors include two brothers, William and Lacy
             Ray Allen, both of Mayfield, and a sister, Mary
             Birdsong, Cadiz.

Mrs. Albert Allen Died Tuesday Morning
Husband Died A Year Ago And One Daughter Among Surviving Relatives
Mrs. Mattie Allen, widow of W. Albert Allen, who died about a year ago, died Tuesday morning about nine o'clock near Siloam of pellagra. She had been ill for some time.
She was a Miss Wells before her marriage and spent most of her life between the rivers. One daughter, two brothers, and one or two sisters survive her.
Burial took place yesterday morning at the Allen grave yard four miles northwest of Cadiz.

NORMA PORTER ALLEN

Mrs. Norma PORTER ALLEN, 75, died Thursday,August 2, at 12:25 p.m. at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. She had been in declining health for a number of years.
A Trigg County native, she was born November 3, 1903, the daughter of Oscar and Leona Guier Mason. She was married to Fay Arthur ALLEN on June 17, 1923. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1966.
She was a member of the Siloam United Methodist Church and
had been employed at Glenn's Store, Elk Brand Manufacturing and later as a foster grandparent at Outwood Hospital
in Dawson Springs.
Funeral Services were conducted at Goodwin Funeral Home Saturday Aug 4, at 3:30 p.m. with the Revs. Albert P. Kraus and Marvin Denison officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Mae Perdue, organist. Burial was in the Siloam cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Hershel Dorris ALLEN of Shreveport, La; one sister, Alberta Johnson of Alton, Ill; one cousin, Mrs. Raymond Hughes of Cadiz and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Edward Allen, Gentry Gray, Tennie Vanzant, Floyd Cannon,Boyce Birdsong, and Ted Futrell. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Cain, Troy Alexander, Raymond Hughes and Raymond Fuller.

             Richard Allen, 51, Hopkinsville, died at 3:15
             this morning, Sept. 12, 2000, at St. Joseph
             Hospice Care Facility, Lexington, of natural
             causes.

             Arrangements are incomplete at Fuqua-Hinton
             Funeral Home.

             Services for Richard Wayne "Popeye'' Allen,
             51, Hilltop Drive, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at
             Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with the Rev. John R.
             Christian officiating.

             Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation
             will be from 5 until 8 tonight.

             He died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at
             St. Joseph Hospice Care Facility, Lexington.

             A native of Brownsville, Tenn., he was born Feb.
             2, 1949, the son of the late Flois Calvin and Nettie
             Pauline Reeves Allen. He was a retired roofer. A
             son, Richard Wayne Allen, preceded him in death.

             Survivors include a son, Shannon DeWayne Allen,
             Lexington; a daughter, Tina Renee Short,
             Georgetown; two brothers, Tim Allen, Bolivar,
             Tenn., Ennis Earl Allen, Hopkinsville; a sister,
             Anne Reed, Hopkinsville and two grandchildren.

             Memorials may be made to the Cerebral Palsy
             Foundation.

             Sarah Elizabeth Allen, 82, Covington's
             Convalescent Center, died at 11:30 p.m.
             Sunday, April 2, 2000, at Covington's of natural
             causes.

             Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lamb
             Funeral Home, with the Rev. Denny Burchett
             officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
             Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday.

             A native of Christian County, she was born April
             16, 1917, the daughter of the late John Wesley and
             Amy Fortner Keller. She was a homemaker and a
             member of the Pembroke Christian Church. She
             was preceded in death by her husband, Dick
             Boxley Allen in 1975, and a daughter, Elizabeth
             Ward, in 1997.

             Survivors include a son, Joe Allen, Gracey; three
             brothers, Joe Keller, Pembroke, Chester Keller,
             California, Kenneth Keller, Florida; two sisters,
             Lateria Lee, Hopkinsville, Juanita Morris,
             Waname, Pa.; five grandchildren and five
             great-grandchildren.

             Memorials may be made to Gideon's International
             or to the Alzheimer's Association.
