LEO ALLEN BETTAGCADIZ, Ky. -- A memorial service for Leo
Allen Bettag, 74, Cadiz, will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday at St. Stephens Catholic Church, with the
Revs. Richard Banhauer and Len Arcilesi
officiating.Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.He died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at
Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. The
body was cremated.A native of Evansville, Ind., he was born Nov. 20,
1925, the son of the late Leo Anthony and Isabella
Ann Newboles Bettag. He was a retired machinist,
having worked 35 years for Heilman-Sterling
Brewien. He was a member of St. Stephens
Catholic Church where he served many years as a
Eucharist and was also an usher.Survivors include his wife, Bettye Fox Bettag; and
a son, Tim Bettag, Cadiz.
