Emma M. Blythe
Emma Mae Rogers Blythe, 92, of Auburn died at 7:45 a.m. June 8, 2001, at an Auburn nursing home.
The Logan County native was a homemaker and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Joe Willie Rogers and Maggie Hammill Rogers and wife of the late Herbert Blythe.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Young Funeral Home with burial in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to New Friendship Building Fund.

Survivors include a daughter, Emma Jo Hughes of Auburn; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Death of Well Known Young Grocer Thursday Night
Mr. Harry Blythe died at his home on Cleveland avenue Thursday about midnight, after an illness of several months of consumption. He had not been in the best of health for about two years and for the last three or four months was unable to take any active part in his business that of operating a grocer on north Virginia Street. *- article illegible.
