Tampa Man, Prominent in Business and Social Circles, Dies at Hospital.
Friends in Cadiz had the sad news of the death of Banks BORDERS, son of Mr and Mrs Harry BORDERS, of Allensville, both of whom are well known here.
Mrs Borders was before her marriage Miss Annie BANKS who made her home in Cadiz with her aunt and uncle, the late Mr and Mrs John A. Jefferson. She was most prominent socially.

T. BANKS BORDERS, 38, 928 Golf View Avenue, Tampa social leader and prominent business man, died suddenly Saturday
night at a local hospital.
His death resulted from an attack of appendicitis. He was taken to a hospital after an attack Friday afternoon and became suddenly worse Saturday night, when he was taken to a hospital. He died before an appendectomy could be performed.
Mr Borders was supervisor of the Interbay Drainage District, president of the Gulf Front Properties, Inc. Was associated with Leslie H. Blank in the real estate business, and was one of the owners of the Tampania Apartments. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, he was a member of S.A.E. social fraternity, Tampa Yacht and County Club, Palma Coin Golf Club, Merrymakers' Club and the Gasparilla Krewe. He came to Tampa in 1924 and first was connected with the First
National Bank.
He was born in Allensville, Ky.
Mr Borders is survived by his widow, Mrs Marian Clark Borders; a daughter, Jean Borders; his parents, Mr and Mrs Harry Borders, Allensville, Ky; a brother , Harry Borders, Jr., Nashville, Tenn, and a sisters, Mrs Dayton Powell, Allensville, Ky.
