ROY W. CANSLER

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. -- Services for Roy William Cansler, 82, Hopkinsville, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Beshear Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene McKnight officiating.
Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time for the service.

He died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at his home of natural causes.

A native of Christian County, he was born Feb. 18, 1918, the son of the late Ellison and Flossie Bennett Cansler. He was a former employee of Hopkinsville Milling Co. and was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church, Christian County. His wives, Dorothy Cansler and Helen Cansler and a son preceded him in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Willis, Hopkinsville; two brothers, Raymond Cansler, Dawson Springs, Junior Cansler, Louisiana; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
