Helen Downing, 76, Alexandria, Va., formerly of Princeton. died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at an Alexandria hospital, following a brief illiness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cliff Jones officiating, Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
A native of Caldwell County, she was born March 6, 1922, the daughter of the late Guy Graham and Esther Wood Nichols. She was a retired teacher and librarian.
