ALICE DUKESGREENVILLE, Ky. -- Alice Dukes, 83,
Greenville, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.
9, 2000, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital
following a brief illness.Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gary's
Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cherry Grove
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight.A native of Christian County, she was born Aug.
22, 1916. She was a member of the Lead Hill
United Methodist church. Her husband, John Lewis
Dukes, and a son, Lewis Dukes, preceded her in
death.Survivors include a son, James Dukes, Greenville;
a brother, Paul Johnson, Greenville; a sister,
Myrtle Shelton, Hopkinsville, and three
granddaughters.
FLOICE THOMAS DUKEEVANSVILLE - Floice Thomas Duke. 79, of 116 E. Powell Ave., Evansville, died at 12:50 p.m. Monday at Welborn Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; one son, Truman T. Duke of Henderson; foster son, Charles Duke of Henderson; brother, James Duke of Henderson; and sister, Lillie Daniels of Madisonville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
