Princeton, Ky. - Servies for ARNOLD ISAAC GRAY, 82,

Princeton, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home.
The Rev. Willis McCracken will officiate with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Eddyville.
Visitation will begin at 6 pm. today. Mr. Gray died at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital, Marion, Ill.
A native of Lyon County, he was born June 15, 1893, the son of Green and Rilley Murphy Gray.  He was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a veteran of WWI.  he was a member of the First Baptist church, Eddyville.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Dobbin, Princeton, Mrs. Bonnie Glass and Mrs. Anna Mae Walker, both of Alton , Ill., and Mrs. AGnes Dunn, East Alton.

At Fort Wayne (In.) a party of six en route to Princeton, Ky., was struck by a Wabash Railroad train. Four were killed and two injured. The injured were Izetta Gray, age 12, will die, physicans say, and Mabel Marie Gray, age 4, some hope for recovery.
The Fort Wayne accident occured about 3:30 a.m. The crossing watchman said the occupants of the car apparently failed to note the signals and drove directly into the path of the train.
The dead, James R. Gray, 39, Toledo, O., Ella Mae Gilkey Gray, 29, his wife, Nettie Blanche Gray age 8, his daughter all formerly of Caldwell Co.,Ky. and Mrs Della Thomas, 34, of Princeton, a sister-in-law of Mr Gray.
Undertakers Robert Morgan and Homer Brown left here (Princeton) this morning for Fort Wayne to bring the bodies here for burial.
Mr Gray was a son of Mr and Mrs Lina Gray, formerly of Paducah. Mrs Gray was a daughter of George Harvey and Nettie (Oliver) Gilkey of Princeton.

LT. COL. JERRY GRAY

             CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Lt. Col. Jerry Gray,
             79, Clarksville, was found dead Saturday, Feb.
             12, 2000, at his home. He died of natural causes.

             Memorial services were scheduled for 3 this
             afternoon at the Fort Campbell Community Chapel,
             with Army Chaplain David Druckamiller
             officiating. There will be no burial or visitation.
             Gray donated his body to Vanderbilt Medical
             Research.

             Among his survivors are a daughter, Betina Gray
             Pierce, Hopkinsville, and a grandson.

             Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes
             Association.

 


LEROY "PENNY CAN" GRAY - JUN 1998
Leroy "Penny Can" Gray, 69, Princeton, died at 5:50 a.m. Friday at Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah following a long illness
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan's s Funeral Home with Ryan Gray and Alfred Williams Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hills Cemetery.
A native of Caldwell County, he was born Oct 16, 1928, the son of Lillian Mae Kluke Gray, Princeton, and the late Proctor Gray Sr. He was an Army veteran and worked in construction. He had earlier worked in Evansville, Ind., at the Penny Can Market, at Arkla and Whirlpool. He was a member of the Sheperd Street Baptist Chruch. His wife, Ruth Bridges Gray, died in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Ryan Gray, Evansville; three stepchildren, Karen Jackson, Robert Madison and Michael Johnson, all of Evansville; seven brothers, Fred Gray, Proctor Gray Jr. and Robert Gray, all of Princeton, Walter and Robert Earl Gray, both of Decatur, Ill., The Rev. Frank Gray Sr., Independence, Kan., Shellie Gray Sr., Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Linnie Mae Johnson, Evansville, Mary Louise Irvin, Terre Haute, Ind., Lillie Boyd, Evansville, Ind. and several step grandchildren.

LUCIAN 'PETE' GRAY

LUCIAN WEBER 'PETE' GRAY, 90, of Route 2, Cadiz, died Wednesday, February 27, at 4:30 p.m. at his home. A native of Trigg County, Mr. Gray was born February 19, 1884, the son of the late James and Elizabeth Hall Gray.

He was married to Ocie Vanzant in 1905 who preceded him in death several years ago. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted at Goodwin Funeral Home Friday, March 1, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Leonard Young officiating. Music services were presented by Clarence King, organist. Burial was in Mt. Plesant Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Guier and Mrs. Joe Radford, both of Trigg County, and Mrs. John Holeman of St. Louis, Mo; four sons, Hodge, Charles and James Gray, all of Trigg County, and Schuyler Gray of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Esker Gray of Trigg county; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ronnie Gray, Perry Gray, Howard Baker, Bethel Baker, Lacy Noel and Clarence Gray.

PRUDENCE GRAY

Mrs. Garrity Gray Dies At Sixty-Seven
Bronchial Pneumonia Fatal To Splendid Lady Living North of Cadiz
Was Member Of Baptist Church And Burial At Blue Spring Yesterday Afternoon
Mrs. Prudence Gray, wife of Mr. R. Garrity Gray, died Monday night about one o'clock at the family home near McCain's Bridge, four miles north of Cadiz, of bronchial pneumonia and other complications. She had been ill only a few days.
Mrs. Gray was sixty seven years of age the 16th of last August, and before her marriage was a Miss Hall, of Lyon county. The husband and the following children survive her. Misses Ivy and Macie Gray, Herbert Gray and Mrs. Bishop Stone, of Trigg county; and Mrs. Robert Gray, Mrs. Fred Cotton and Clinton Gray, of Lyon county.
Mrs. Gray had long been a member of the Baptist church, and was held in highest esteem and was greatly beloved by hosts of friends, all of whom are made to grieve by reason of her death.
Burial took place yesterday afternoon at three o'clock at Blue Spring burying ground in Caldwell county. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. R. Noel, of Cadiz.


TAMERA LOUISE GRAY - 1998
Graveside services for Tamera Louise "Tammy" Gray, 30, Pennyrile Apartments, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Riverside Cemetery.

The Rev. Dr. Michael watts will officiate. There will be no visitation. Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She died at 12:19 a.m. Wednesday in the emergency room at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of injuries suffered a few hours earlier in a one car traffic accident on the Greeville Road.

A native of Westland, Mich., she was born Nov 3, 1968, the daughter of the late John and Shelva Rogers Casebier. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist church.

Survivors include a son, Scott Gray Jr., Christian County, and two brothers, Curtis Casebier, Kansas City, Kans., and Greg Casebier, Hopkinsville.



WILLIAM M GRAY

Wm. M. Gray died at his home in Princeton Saturday after several days illness.
The funeral took place from the Baptist church Sunday afteroon.
He was born in Montgomery Co, TN in 1821, came to this state in 1840, locating with his uncle, David Fort, in Livingston County, where he resided until 1869.

In 1849 he united in marriage to Miss Narcissa Miles.  Four children were born, two of whom are now living - G.C. Gray of Marion and Mrs. Kitty Hodge of Henderson.

In 1869 Mr. Gray moved to Trigg County and in 1872 to Princeton.

His first wife died several years ago and he then married Miss Jennie Wilson of Caldwell County, who survives him.

He was a member of Masonic fraternity.
