WALTER HALE
WALTER  HALE, son of Alex Hale and nephew of Maj. H.S. Hale, was born and
reared in this city.  Some 8 or 10 years ago he entered the legal profession
and passed a first class examination.  Shortly afterward he led to the altar
Miss Ethel, the second daughter of Col. Lucian Anderson, and moved his
family to Hopkinsville where he practiced his profession until that dread
disease, consumption, caused him to migrate to Phoenix, Az.  in search of
health.  A few weeks ago he returned to hopkinsville where he died.  Leaves
a wife, three children and several brothers and sisters.  Burial in Mayfield
City Cemetery.
