Former Trigg Citizen Dies In Lyon County
Brother of Mrs. Green Wallace Passes Away At Age of Eighty Three
Mr. Samuel Hooks, a former citizen of Trigg county and a prominent citizen of Lyon county for many years past, died a few days ago at his home in Lyon county, at the age of eighty three.
Mr. Hooks was a relative of Judge W. H. Hooks and Mr. H. P. Hooks, of Cadiz and Mrs. Green T. Wallace, of Cumberland section between the rivers, is a sister of the deceased.
Mr. Hooks was an active member of the Baptist church and had been for many years, and Rev. Bunyan Hooks, a prominent young Baptist minister well known in Trigg county is a son.
