DOUGLAS 'PETE' LEWIS

Douglas "Pete" Lewis, 54, Smith Mills, died at 9:08 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Uniontown, and he was also a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Donna; one daughter, Leigh Ann Hooper of Smith Mills; one son, Joseph "Petey" Lewis of Smith Mills; three sisters, Patsy Eblen of Dixon, Martha Turley of Smith Mills, and Anna E. Parrish of Sturgis; two brothers, Alan Lewis of Uniontown, and John Lewis of Smith Mills; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. The Rev. Andy Ausenbaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, all day Friday, and until 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, where
prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Friday.

NEW CASTLE, Calif. _ Guy Lewis, 74, New Castle, died Friday (4-11-1997) in a Sacramento, hospital following a brief illness.

Memorial services will be Tuesday in California.

A native of Christian County, Ky., he was born April 13, 1922, the son of the late Ruby and Hubert Lewis. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Lela W. Lewis; a son, Guy Lewis Jr., Sacramento; a daughter, Carol Breakey, Carmichael, Calif; a brother, Larkin Lewis, Hammond, Ind.; two sisters, Tillie Gossett, Hopkinsville, Ky., Patricia Boggess, Crofton, Ky.; and several grandchildren.

Pee Dee Lady Succumbs to Attack of Pneumonia
Miss Mildred Lewis, a very popular and much esteemed young lady of the Pee Dee neighborhood died Tuesday of pneumonia, which followed an attack of whooping cough. She was twenty two years old. Her funeral was preached Wednesday by Rev. Milton Hall, of Lafayette, and the remains were laid to rest in the Dawson burying ground, near Roaring Springs.

ORION LESLIE LEWIS JR.
Orion Leslie LEWIS Jr., 53, of 2387 Carter Drive, died at 1:05 a.m. Monday at Community Methodist Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Delorus; three daughters, Robbie SUGG, Roxanne SHEELEY and Tina STINSON, all of Henderson; his mother, Anna E. LEWIS of Smith Mills; four sisters, Patricia EBLEN of Dixon, Anna Ella PARRIS of Sturgis, Violet COURTNEY of Uniontown and Martha PURLEY of Smith Mills; four brothers, Allen F. LEWIS of Uniontown, Douglas M. LEWIS of Geneva, John LEWIS and Charles LEWIS, both of Smith Mills; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Grayville. Ill.
