Aged Citizen Of Caledonia Dies At The Age of Eighty Three
Saturday March 23, 1940 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, friends and relatives gathered at the Jones Cemetery to pay their last respects to an aged citizen of this community.
Mr Tom MADDUX eighty three years ten months and sixteen days old, passed away at his home at four p.m. Friday, March 22, 1940.
Mr Maddux was a member of the Christian Church. A short burial service was read by Mr Aubrey FREEMAN and songs were sung as the mortal was gently laid to rest.
Mr Maddux is survived by a widow with two children and his children by a former marriage. Mrs Rasco Marlow, Mr Walter MADDUX and Mr Edgar MADDUX of Hopkinsville. A nephew from Blytheville, Arkansas was here to witness the last rites.
