SARAH MARDISCADIZ, Ky. -- Sarah Mardis, 94, Cadiz, died
at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Trigg County Hospital
of natural causes.Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at
East End Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Tom Martin
officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight
at Goodwin Funeral Home.A native of Trigg County, she was born March 12,
1905, the daughter of the late Burnett and Mallie
Grace Mitchell. She was a retired nurse at Eastern
State Hospital and was a member of the Cadiz
Christian Church. Her husband, Leon Mardis, died
in 1971.A sister, Mabel Wallis, Cadiz, survives.
