JOAN SUGG PARRAMORE
Joan (SUGG) PARRAMORE, Henderson's first female real estate broker, died shorlly after midnight Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mrs. Parramore, 49, had been ill for some time.
During the early '60s, she became the first licensed woman Realtor in Western Kentucky and in 1963, established her own real estate business, which continued here until the early '70s.
She was an active member of the local chapter of the Business and Professional Women's Club, the Audubon Society and the Audubon Board of Realtors.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky HARGIS of Henderson and Mary Pat SUGG of Corpus Christi; two sons Ben KASEY of Henderson and John SUGG of Hobart, Ind.; three sisters, Patty THOMPSON of Rydall, Pa., Mrs. W. O. TOOLEY of Louisville and Joyce GINTER of Hobart, Ind., and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home with the Rev. John Conn officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
