DUDLEY P'POOL

Little Dudley, the eight-year-old son of Mr. And Mrs. L. P'Pool, died last Saturday, the 5th inst. At the residence of Esq. J.M. P'Pool.
The little fellow had measles and relapsed into pneumonia. He was a great sufferer, but bore his suffering with patience. Dudley was a great favorite with all who knew him, and he will be sadly missed by a score of friends who mingled their tears with the bereaved parents.

HERBERT A. P'POOL

             CADIZ, Ky.-- Herbert A. P'Pool, 72, Cadiz,
             died at 10 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2001, at his
             home of natural causes.

             Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Goodwin
             Funeral Home, with the Rev. Billy Joe Nichols
             officiating. Burial will be in Wall Cemetery in
             Trigg County. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m.
             Tuesday.

             A native of Trigg County, he was born July 12,
             1928, the son of the late Amos Milton and Vassie
             Morris P'Pool. He was a farmer and had retired
             from ITT.

             Survivors include his wife, Katherine Boren
             P'Pool; two sons, Willie and Jesse P'Pool, Trigg
             County; a daughter, Shelia P'Pool, Trigg County; a
             stepson, J.C. Boren, Trigg County; four
             stepdaughters, Kathy Boren, Bonnie Troutman,
             Vickie Turner and Martha Mitchell, all of Trigg
             County; two brothers, Paul P'Pool, Hopkinsville,
             James R. P'Pool, Trigg County; a sister, Geneva
             Childress, Trigg County; four grandchildren, six
             stepgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
 



IMOGENE H. P'POOL

CADIZ, Ky.-- Imogene Hite P'Pool, 83, Cadiz, died at 5:25 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2000, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home following a long illness.

Services were Sunday afternoon at King's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Norman Ellis officiating. Burial was in Robertson Cemetery, Trigg County.

A native of Trigg County, she was born Aug. 31, 1916, the daughter of the late Herman Joseph and Eula Overby Hite. She was a retired nurse for Dr. John Futrell's Clinic and was a member of the Rocky Ridge Baptist Church.
Her husband, Waymon Lester P'Pool, preceded her in death. A daughter, Barbara Jean P'Pool, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Kelly P'Pool, Cadiz, Don P'Pool, Bowling Green; a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Betty Jean) Lester, Cadiz; a sister, Ruth Ricks, Goodlettsville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and
one stepgreat-grandson.
