ROSCOE PURYEAR, 69, of 819 Jefferson, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at Illinois Central Hospital. Mr. PURYEAR was
a retired clerk of the Illinois Central System. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harris and Merryman funeral home with thh Rev. Thomas Brown officiating.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. LILLIAN PURYEAR; three
sisters, Miss COURTIE PURYEAR, Mrs. LETHA LEMON, and Mrs. JOHN HUGG, all of Paducah; and a brother, CARL PURYEAR, of Chicago, Ill. Burial will be in Oak Groce cemetery.
Pallnearers will be German Wallace, Henry Robinson. L. B. Whitman and Hersel Herdy. Friends may call at Harris and Merryman's.Paducah - 1949


WILLIAM ELZIE PURYEAR

William Elzie Puryear, 83, of 1200 O'Byrne St. died at 7:45 a. m. Friday at Medco Nursing Center.
He was a public accountant in Henderson for more than 20 years.
He is survived by one daughterm Virginia Parker of Evansville; two grandson, Gary Paker of Kuttawa and Capt. W. E. Parker of Jacksonville, N. C.; one niece and one nephew.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Moss-Audubon Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.
