BEATRICE OGBURN SALLEE
Services for Beatrice Ogburn Sallee, 89, Hopkinsville, will be at noon Saturday at the Durrett Avenue Baptist Church, with the Rev. H.H. Belle officiating.
Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home, and visitation with the family will be from 7 until 8 p.m.She died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
A native of Stewart County, Tenn., she was born April 24, 1910, the daughter of the late Sam and Floide Martin Ogburn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Durrett Avenue Baptist Church where she was a choir member. Her husband, John Andrew Sallee, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Frances James and Dorothy Noel, both of Hopkinsville; a brother, Sam Ogburn, Clarksville, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
