WILLIAM SOLOMON
Old Citizen Passes Away Near Montgomery William SOLOMON, an honored citizen, died the first day of February 1905, at
the home of his daughter Mrs F.M. Cameron.
He had been in declining health for a long time and his death was probably due to kidney trouble.
Mr Solomon was born in Halifax county, Virginia, March 19, 1828 and moved with his parents at the age of five years to Trigg county and remained in Trigg county until his death.
He was an honest upright man, but never united with any church. He was a good neighbor, a kind husband and a loving father. He leaves a faithful wife and also three sons and four daughters, Mr C.H. SOLOMON, Richard SOLOMON and Tom SOLOMON, Mrs F.M. CAMERON, Mrs J.W. CAMERON, Mrs R.F. WADE and Miss Lila SOLOMON, A light from our homestead is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our hearts
This world can never sill.
