Dropped Dead
Aunt Polly Tutt Expires Suddenly of Heart Disease
Mrs. Mary Tutt, better known as Aunt Polly Tutt, dropped dead at the home of Mr. Bell Jenkins a few miles north of the city Sunday afternoon. She had been employed by Mr. C. W. Vaughan, who lives two miles east of the city, as housekeeper, for some time. Some of Mr. Jenkins family had been sick and she went over a week ago to see them and spend the week. She had been subject to heart trouble for some years and was attacked again Sunday afternoon, expiring in a very few minutes. She was 53 years old and had been twice married, but leaves, no family. The interment took place yesterday afternoon.
