Katie Simpson Van Hooser, 81, Greenville, Ky.
Died Wednesday 29 September 1971 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
Member of East Macedonia Baptist Church of Christian Co., lived most of her life in the Crofton area until recently.
Survivors: husband, Tim C. Van Hooser Sr. of Hopkinsville; two sons, Arklie Van Hooser of Evansville, Ind. and T. C. Van Hooser Jr. of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. John L. Haskins of Greenville and Mrs. Woodson West of Hopkinsville; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Services: Friday 1 October 1971, burial in East Macedonia Church Cemetery. Gary Funeral Home, Greenville.

Mary Bell Van Hooser, 94, Hopkinsville, Ky.
Died Saturday 10 June 1967 in Jennie Stuart Hospital.
Born in Christian Co. 25 May 1873.
Member of Bluff Springs Church of Christ. Had lived all of her life in Christian Co. Her husband, Volley Van Hooser, died in 1922.
Survivors: nieces and nephews, Herschel Pepper, Harold Pepper, Elmo Pepper, Frank Pepper, Oliver and Elmer Pepper, Mrs. malvina Lowery, Mrs. Edith Jenkins, Mrs. Lucy Spurlin, Miss Lelia Pepper, Mrs. Ada Hines, Mrs. Opal Beliles, Mrs. Kate Boyd, Mrs. Ivyl Kelly, Mrs. Inez Jones, Mrs. Ruth Woosley and Mrs. Caroline Clark.
Services: Monday 12 June 1967, burial in Riverside Cem.
Hughart-Keithley Funeral Home.
