Survivors: son, Maj. R. E. Wortham of Lufkin, Texas; one brother, Vernest East of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Verlie) Clark of Christian Co. and Mrs. Turk (Fairy) Gilliland of Crofton; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Services: Wednesday 5 October 1983, burial in Wood Cem., Christian Co. Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
