May 25, 1928 – Vosier-Brasher Wedding at Elizabethtown, Illinois. Mrs. Katherine Vosier and Raymond Brasher of this county, were married in Elizabethtown, Ill. Last Monday. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Vosier, of Dycusburg. Mr. Brasher is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgie Brasher of Caldwell Springs.

May 25, 1928 – Marriage License Issued. A marriage license was issued in Marion last Saturday to Norval Tabor, 35, and Miss Aline Hinchee, 15. Mr. Tabor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Tabor, of Marion and the bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hinchee of Marion. The wedding ceremony was said by Rev. James F. Rice at his home on North Main Street.

June 8, 1928 – Murray-Brannam. Miss Etta Murray, 18, and Ernest Brannam, 20, were married June 2nd. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Murray of near Marion. Mr. Brannam, a miner, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Brannam, of near Marion.

June 29, 1928 – Crittenden Girl Marries in Fredonia. Mrs. Wilma Long and Mr. J. E. Keeling were married Friday evening at 8:00 o’clock at the home of Rev. C. R. Barrow. Rev. Barrow saying the ceremony. Mrs. Keeling is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Long of near Crayne and was a member of the graduating class of Fredonia High School this year, being Valedictorian. Mr. Keeling is employed by the firm of S. G. Bennett and son.

August 17, 1928 – Deanwood Items. Miss Beatrice Lamb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Lamb, of this community and Joseph Wilson, son of John Wilson were married in Marion, Thurs. Aug. 9th.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson will make their home in this vicinity for the present.

September 7, 1928- Tolu Brothers Wed Blackford Sisters. Clyde Lynch of Tolu and Miss Julian Heggard Litchfield of Blackford and Hayden Lynch of Tolu and Miss Henrietta Groves Litchfield of Blackford came to Dixon Friday where they were issued licenses to marry. They drove to the home of the brides’ parents at Blackford where a double wedding was performed. The grooms are brothers and sons of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Lynch of Crittenden County. They are farmers. The brides are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Litchfield of Blackford. The contracting parties are well known and popular young people. Dixon Journal.

October 28, 1928. McCune-Conger Wedding in Mt. Vernon, Ind. Mrs. Katherine McCune and Mark Conger, of the Union community, were married Sat. Oct. 6th in Mt. Vernon, Ind. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. McCune and is a graduate of Marion H. S. Mr. Conger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Conger.
