ENON CHURCH

The Enon General Baptist church was organized the 6th day of December, 1847, by Elders Jacob Holeman, Casual Mason, and Ludwell Brackett.

Embracing the Constitution, Articles of faith, and Rules of Decorum of the Cumberland Association of General Baptist in the States of Kentucky and Illinois. The number composing Enon church at that time was seven.

The pastors since 1898 were:
Church clerks have been J. N. Towery, S. H. Morrow, Stella Martin, Francis Casner, and Lillian Guess.

Ministers who have been members of this church were: Rev. C. R. Kinnin, G. R. Little, and Rev. J. D. Morow.

Union Association met with Enon church in 1926.

The church records were lost, and the above is as some of the members remember its history.
