Martha Ann "Annie" Faughn was the third child and the second daughter of John H. (Durgan) Faughn and Mildred (Millie) Litchfield. She was born in Lamasco, Lyon County, Kentucky on the 10th day of October 1877 and died the 18th of September 1961 in Cadiz, Trigg County, Kentucky.
Annie had two brothers, one sister, and one half sister.

Mary Jane (Mollie) Faughn born Feb 8th 1867 in Trigg County and died May 5th, 1953 in Trigg County. She married William Jackson Sherbut April 12, 1885. She was the daughter of John H (Durgan) Faugh and Mary Jane Stovall. Her mother died in childbirth.

Annie at the age of 17 married a carpenter, James Benjamin (Ben) Faughn the son of John Dennis Faughn and Martha Mitchell Morris in Lyon County on the 14th day of October 1894 at the home of Tom Faughn in the presence of Warren King and Henry Litchfield. They resided on a farm all of their life in the Bethesda community of Trigg County.

My grandmother and grandfather are buried in the Curling Cemetery in the Bethesda Community not far from the "old home place".
