CLARENCE NEVILLE PERRY
1893 - 1949

Clarence Neville Perry, age 56, passed away Wednesday morning, March 2 at his home, six miles northwest of Cadiz on Route 2.

Mr. Perry had been in ill health for more than a year and the last five months had been confined to his bed most of the time, his death was not unexpected.

The deceased was born Sep. 27, 1893, the son of the late Burnett and Mollie Perry, and was reared in the Wallonia community.

In 1919 he was united in marriage to Miss Iola Tooke, to this union one son was born, which died in infancy.

Besides the wife, he is survived by two brothers, Sidney Perry of Model Tenn., and Lee Perry, of Princeton; one sisters, Mrs. Charles Cherry, of Princeton.

He was a loyal Chritian, a devoted husband and friend to all who knew him. The community in which he lived has indeed loat one of its best citizens.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, March 3 at Hurrican Baptist church, where he held his membership, Rev. Wade Cunningham officiated.

Mr. and Mrs Luther Carpenter, Mrs. Carloss Allen and Miss Myrtlene Allen had charge of the singing. Mrs Hurley Gray rendered special music.

The pallbearers included three nephews, Arthur and Early Perry and Everett Cherry and three brothers in law, John, Lloyd and Ralph Tooke. Burial followed at the Curling Cemetery, near his home.
