James Mathis Ross was taken in 1868. James Mathis Ross (1843-1925),
son of Ansel and Josephine Meredith Ross, was a circuit preacher
between the rivers who also served Pleasant Hill, where I believe he was
ordained. He married Amanda Futrell in Feb 1868 in Trigg Co.
