THE CADIZ HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI (1909-1938) met in the Lake Barkley State Park Convention Center on September 12, 1992 with 73 people present. Registration and hospitality hour began at 4 p.m. and the buffet meal at 6 p.m. followed by the business meeting.

The meeting consisted of the election of new officers for 1994, who were: president, Hilda Williams Bridges, vice-president, William McAtee, correspondent secretary, Lucy martin McAtee, reporter, Margaret Woodruff Grifin, recording secretary, Frances Clark handley, treasurer, Cotton Cunningham Lester. Then the vote was taken to see should the alumni meeting be continued to 1994, it was decided to continue.

A candle was lit and there were a few moments of silence as a memorial for the 18 who had passed on in the last two years.

Some came in wheelchairs, some carried walking canes and some were limping; but it was a very enjoyable time. There was one who came from Virginia and one from Florida. The oldest present was Guy Kelley, 93 years olds and the youngest was 70 plus.
