TURNER FAMILY LETTERS

(The following letter was found between the pages of S.Y. Turner's Bible)

The transcriber and keeper of the letters, Mrs. Lillie Inez Hill Gilson of Eddyville, Kentucky, penned the below note. Inez has been preserving the family history for many years. Silas Y. and Nancy Emmaline Carr Turner were her Great Great Grandparents.
"The letters were written as found. At times I unconsciously would correct errors. I studied the letters one hour and a half to be able to read it. It was written in ink. This was a wonderful experience for me. I have found in my searching the family history so many names and words incorrectly written." Lillie Inez Hill Gilson, March 16, 1995
